Tee Time Policy:

If you have less than 3 or 4 players you will be paired up during busy times. 

Late Policy:

If your group is more than 5 minutes late for your reserved tee time, there is no guarantee that you will get out to play during peak hours. To ensure this does not happen, please arrive 15 minutes early for your tee times.

Groups of 8 or More Players Cancellation Policy:

Groups of more than 8 players are required to leave a card on file upon booking. If any players in the group need to cancel, the golf course must be notified within 24 hours of the tee time. Please call us at 302-703-6662 to cancel any players in the group who cannot make it. If the golf course is not notified of cancellation, or if less players show up on the day of the tee time without contacting us, a $15 charge per person will incur on the card on file.

Pre-Paid Tee Times:

If you pre pay for a tee time and do not show up or cancel your time, we can move your tee time for you or you will be issued club credit only. Club credit never expires & you can use it on anything that we sell at the course!

If you booked for 18 holes and choose to play 9:

You can get a rain check for the holes that were not played, there will be no refund on cart fees. 

Rain Check Policy:

If it rains and you have paid for a tee time, we can issue club credit or a rain check to you for your paid tee time. 

Reserving Carts Policy:

Carts are first come, first serve. Occasionally there is wait times for golf carts during peak hours, we will do our best to keep things moving and get you out on the course as fast as possible. Please be patient.

Lost & Found Policy: 

American Classic Golf Club will hold lost items for 30 days. Once the 30 days pass, the lost property will belong to the American Classic Golf Club and will no longer be in the lost and found storage in the golf shack. The golf course is not responsible for lost or damaged property.

Junior Driving Cart Policy:

Youth on Course members and juniors utilizing our junior discount or Youth on Course program are not permitted to drive their own cart, even if they have a valid driver’s license. Juniors using either our in-house discount program or Youth on Course program must walk and cannot operate a driving cart.  These juniors may ride if an adult who is not utilizing either program drives the golf cart. Free pull carts are also offered to juniors who use the program. 

Gift Card & Club Credit Policy Update
Effective January 1, 2026, gift cards and club credit at American Classic Golf Club may be redeemed exclusively for golf rounds, golf carts, push carts, golf balls, tees, and pro shop apparel.

Gift cards for golf lessons, club regripping, food and beverage, and fitness services are now sold separately, and club credit may not be applied toward these services.

Previously purchased gift cards for golf lessons will continue to be honored. Please notify our staff at the time of redemption.
