Sam is our resident swing whisperer and a certified golf teaching professional through the United States Golf Teachers Federation. He officially joined the world of golf instruction in June 2020, and after passing his in-person verbal teaching exam and his playing ability test in 2022, he earned his full USGTF certification.

Since then, Sam has coached just about every type of golfer you can imagine—kids with boundless energy, adults with brand-new clubs, seasoned players chasing consistency, families learning together, and everyone in between. He teaches single lessons, small groups, family sessions, and clinics for golfers of all ages and skill levels.

Sam’s passion for the game is contagious, and helping players find their best swing is what fuels him every day. And the locals have noticed—he’s a three-time Coastal Style Magazine winner for Best Golf Professional in Sussex County (2023, 2024, and 2025!).

When he’s not on the lesson tee, Sam is also an author. His book, A Lifelong Hobby: How to Play Golf and Why You Should, breaks the game down in a fun, friendly way that makes golf approachable for anyone. Basically, if you love golf—or want to love golf—Sam’s your guy.

Austin Ebersole, Golf & Flinggolf professional

Austin—better known around here as Showtime—is a certified golf teaching professional through the United States Golf Teachers Federation. He’s been coaching golfers throughout Delaware (and its many visitors!) since 2017, and in 2019 he completed the full USGTF training program to earn his advanced teaching certification—giving him the tools to help golfers of every skill level. With his positive energy, deep golf knowledge, and quick ability to diagnose swing faults, Austin brings confidence, clarity, and a whole lot of fun to every lesson.

In recent years, Austin has added a whole new talent to his teaching lineup: FlingGolf. As a 19-time World League FlingGolf Champion and one of the top players in the sport, he teaches players how to fling like a pro. But don’t worry—he doesn’t just fling; he can definitely swing. Whether you’re learning golf, FlingGolf, or both, Austin has the experience and enthusiasm to guide every type of player.

On top of teaching, Austin is our resident grip re-do-er, keeping golf clubs and FlingSticks fresh and ready for action. He offers private lessons, junior instruction, family or group sessions, community clinics, FlingGolf clinics, and even flingstick fittings and custom builds. And if you see one of his FlingGolf clinics pop up—jump in. They’re a blast.
